Who is responsible

What is stored

• Account. Email, display name, email-verified flag, your tier and grading credits, review-email and timezone preferences (user). Password hash (account). Login sessions with the IP address and browser user agent they were created from (session).
• Progress. Which lessons you completed and when (progress).
• Quiz answers. Your first answer to each quiz question and whether it was correct (quiz_results).
• Review schedule. Which lessons are queued for spaced review, and every rating you gave (review_items, review_log).
• Lab submissions. The text you submit for a lab (submissions).
• Certificates. The name printed on a certificate and when it was issued (certificates).
• Purchases. Product, amount, status and the payment provider's order id. Payments made before you have a verified account are held by email address until you verify it (purchases, unclaimed_payments, entitlement_events).
• Analytics events. First-party counts: an event name, an optional coarse label such as a lesson slug or tier, and a timestamp. No user id, no IP, no cookie (analytics_events). A per-IP counter limits abuse of that endpoint and old buckets are pruned (analytics_rate_limits).
